Lubna Ahmed

Mrs. Lubna Ahmed completed her B.Sc Degree from Chemical Engineering Department of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Currently she is appointed as Lecturer in the same department and is continuing for her M.Sc Degree. She worked on “Modeling of Air Pollution in Dhaka city from Northern Brick Kilns Using AERMOD” as her undergraduate thesis work under the supervision of Dr. M.A.A Shoukat Choudhury. Her research interest includes biochemical engineering, air pollution, nanotechnology, energy etc. She participated in various programs arranged by the department while being a student and is still participating in various programmes, e.g. she participated in editorial activities of Journal of Chemical Engineering ,IEB , Volume 26. She also participated in many workshop and short courses. Some of the significant are :
• “Design in AutoCAD and SolidWorks” organized by Directorate of Continuing Education, BUET, 2011.
• “Teachers’ Appreciation Workshop”, Directorate of Continuing Education (DCE), BUET, 2011.
• “Workshop on Technical Writing & Presentation”, Chemical Engineering Department, BUET, Dhaka, 2010.
She paid visit to Polash Urea Fertilizer Factory Ltd., Narsingdhi; Global Heavy Chemicals Ltd. (caustic and allied products) and had a two week industrial training from ASM Chemical Industries Ltd., Gazipur.
